In Atlantic City, the hotel tax rate is a whopping 13.625%, and New Jersey tacks on a $3 occupancy fee and a $2 “tourism promotion” fee every night you stay. All of that is before you get hit with the resort fee, which is the hotel’s way of giving you a bundle of amenities at one low price keeping the advertised price low while increasing. Come out to play and win at Harrah's Resort Atlantic City. Our exciting hotel and casino is a fun and friendly place to stay and play in Atlantic City.

Parking Fees

By law, casinos remit to the State a fee of $3.00 per day for each parking space used by patrons in their facility. N.J.S.A. 5:12-173.3.

Casino operators are required to report parking fee revenue to the Commission on a monthly basis. The form and instructions for completing the form can be found on the right in the Related Links section on this page.

$0.50 of the parking fee is deposited into the Casino Revenue Fund, with the remaining $2.50 forwarded to the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority for the benefit of Atlantic City. The Commission determines and certifies the amounts payable by each casino under the law. N.J.S.A. 5:12-173.5.
