I’m agreeing with the moneyline and going with the 6/5 favorite in this race: Savage, ridden by top jockey Frankie Pennington. This three-year-old colt has good workout times and moneyed in his single career start, which puts him way ahead of the rest of this field.

At 15/1, think about a show ticket on ET’s Night Ranger, with Gerardo Milan in the irons. This four-year-old gelding hasn’t finished in the money in his four career starts, but he has good workout times, and to help out, Milan brings his five-pound apprentice allowance. It could happen.
